All in-person athletes operate inside the EA Performance System:
Individualised periodised programming (each athlete has an annual performance plan).
8-week structured development blocks.
Formal performance testing & reporting.
EA Athlete App access for additional sessions & tracking.
Nutrition guidance & protocols.
Educational performance resources.
Direct coach communication.
Competition & on-horse support when required.

Athletes select the level of in-person exposure appropriate for their goals:
1 session per week: $125 NZD ideal for structured guidance alongside independent training.
2 sessions per week: $140 NZD increased technical oversight & load progression.
3 sessions per week: $180 NZD high touch coaching & full performance immersion.
All athletes operate within 8 week structured development blocks including formal testing, reports & app tracking.

All online athletes operate within structured 8 week development blocks with re-testing & progression reviews.

All levels. Performance is personal & your “riding level” doesn’t always match your “training age” in the gym.
We’ve coached Grand Prix riders taking their very first steps with strength training, as well as amateur riders who already have years of gym experience but less time in the saddle.
Wherever you’re starting from, we meet you there. The goal is always the same: build the physical qualities that transfer into your riding so you can perform at your best.

Yes. Where you start doesn’t matter as much as having a plan of where you’re going.
The gym is simply a tool, but it’s a powerful one that allows us to build & continue progressing as your performance does.
At home & dumbbell work outs are a great place to start, however a core principle of training, especially in athletic development, is challenging the body enough to change. The gym allows us to do this.

For most riders, yes. Online coaching gives you structure, accountability & feedback you can revisit. Whether that’s a check-in, video reviews on your form, a voice note with tips or a full video analysis.
That said, we’ll always be transparent about what we feel is best for you.

Yes, we offer hybrid coaching at our private facility in Hawkes Bay, alongside full online options.
In person sessions combine technical coaching, performance testing & progress reviews.
